OUR STORY

We are a family owned and operated farm located in Homeland, California run by Jeffrey Carlson. We have a hobby farm where we raise teacup pigs, micro mini pigs and Juliana hybrid, Emu, rare kikiriki chickens and Mosaic chickens. We are devoted to raising the smallest and most affectionate teacup pigs, micro mini pigs, and Juliana pigs. Our pigs are raised in a loving environment. The teacup pigs, micro mini pigs and Juliana pigs are all equally intelligent, curious, humorous, affectionate and clean animals.

These little pigs are suitable for indoor living if properly trained, that's why we socialize and litter box train all of our piglets before they go to their new homes. Teacup pigs, micro mini pigs, and Juliana pigs do great with other pets including cats and most dogs. Our tiny piglets have been raised around kids, dogs, cats and a variety of other pets.

We have been raising pigs for over 20 years. Breeding pigs is an art form when done properly. There are unlimited genetic combinations. We are always working towards the betterment of the breed through selective breeding practices to determine the preferred genetics based on size, confirmation, temperament and health.

ABOUT OUR PIGLETS

Pet pigs are known by many different names. Much of the confusion about the pigs size comes from not understanding the terminology.
The smallest of the miniature breeds are the micro mini pigs, followed by the teacup pigs and the Juliana pigs. The miniature potbelly pigs or the mini potbelly are the largest of the mini breeds. They are also known as "mini pigs or miniature pigs" Many people purchase the "mini pigs" or "miniature pigs" thinking that they are purchasing a micro mini or teacup pig either because they don't understand the terminology or the breeder has tried to deceive them.

The micro mini pigs typically sell for $2500 each. The teacup pigs sell for $1500 each. Breeder quality micro mini pigs start at $3500 and breeder quality teacup pigs start at $2500. If you see them being sold for significantly less or the breeder tries to talk you into taking a piglet home that is not weaned, beware! Potbelly piglets are 5 to 10 pounds at birth, this is why they will try to get you to take a two day old piglet home to bottle feed. Please never take a piglet home before he/she has been properly weaned from mom.
Potbelly pigs also make good pets if you don't mind the larger size. Potbelly pigs typically sell for $300 to $500 each. We do not breed the potbelly pigs.

These miniature breeds of pigs go by many different names. You may hear terms such as; nano pigs, pocket pigs, toy pigs, and dwarf pigs. These are just names made up by the breeder. Discuss these terms with the breeder to determine what size your pig will be when full grown.

SIZE DIFFERENCES

Micro Mini Pigs: The micro mini pigs are typically in the 20 to 30 pound range full grown. The micro mini pigs come in a variety of colors.

Teacup Pigs: Don't be fooled by the name. They may fit in a teacup as babies but that's the end of that. You can expect a teacup to be anywhere from 30 to 65 pounds full grown. The teacup pigs come in a variety of colors.

Pixie Pigs: These are our smallest pigs, usually under 20 pounds. The Pixie's come in a wide variety of colors and patterns.

Juliana Pigs: Also know as the painted pigs. A true Juliana pig will always have spots. Some Juliana will be white with black spots, but they also come in various shades of red and chocolate spotted. Juliana's usually have longer legs than the teacup pigs, micro mini pigs and pixie pigs.

Typical weight ranges from 20 to 50 pounds.
We base our size estimates on the adult size of the parent pigs. Weights can vary based on muscle mass and how they are fed. There is no way to guarantee size at this time. We need 24 generations and nobody has that yet.
